But big pp boys don't fight each other, they make unraidable bases with 10 layers and just pick up on sprucecaps who don't have enough time for it. If there'll be 2 servers 1 will die miserably anyway.
About your idea - people will abuse storing their treasures in peacefull continent anyway. Maybe making it 1-way will help?
On the topic - cheer up, siege changes aren't bad, even if most people are afraid of losing everything because of them. You just need to make it so they'd have a chance not to lose everything against opponent with larger stat numbers and more people. Just remember that whatever you add, powergamers will gain maximum profit of it/do everything they can to avoid penalties, when others *could* do the same, but don't usually have enough time and dedication for it.
