Quality does not affect how much damage the sledgehammer does.

It was 484 Strength in Haven 1. If palisade soak is still 25, then it's the same.

Considering all the angry posts, i would just like to say that the job you have been doing up till now has been admirable, and the game is wonderful. I hope that the coming tide of negative comments do not discourage you or turn you off from further developing. Though i HIGHLY disagree with your decision, thank you for the memories and experiences in this game.
cheers

so given that w7 ran for quite a while, taking into account this change in metal q, could anyone speculate as to the approximate lifespan of w8?

some people may not be happy with this result, some seem to be happy, i myself really don't know what was best at all.
after all there is no way to make everyone happy after such a fucking up.

im at least happy again that our kings of midas dont feel the need to hide their ears :) and that is the most important thing, i think.
so, cheers!

While it's certainly true that W7 ran for very long and that world resets usually tend to come in quicker succession during more active development, I wouldn't speculate too much on that just yet only from this. We'll see what happens first.

While this change certainly wasn't intended, and won't survive into the next world, I don't think it necessarily breaks the world completely. We'll have to see what happens. Watching what a change such as this sets into motion could very well be a meaningful experience in itself.

lets really break he world! give us new constructs, new toys, all kindsa new shit to fuck one another over with, so you can learn from all of the pain and suffering small towns like mine are going to endure! I for one get nothing but placed in the very back of the race and set to hunt for new stuff, but meh, I'll accept my death if these players becoming super powerful isn't the only madness that occurs. I'm on board for the ride so long as the plot keeps thickening. More buildings. plz.

Digging on a mountain gave me black coal rather than a stone, should I be happy? (and is this working as intended?)

digging stone also doesnt drain energy or stamina?
