Can the devs be pretty based and open the world on Easter, April 4th? Creating a new world on the day of ressurection of our lord, Jesus Christ, would be epicness of untold levels.

Many of us would rather go to church i think, and that's wasting precious first hours of the world.

Church is closed due to AIDS Corona.
As are family gatherings, depending on where you live. So these arguments regarding Easter and whatnot in this thread seem rather weird.

Some family said there was one near us that wasn't closed, and wanted us to all go, but i guess i don't know for sure.

99% sure the majority of us are still going to do some kind of family gathering if church isn't an option.

I don't know what it's like in other regions, but at least in the Netherlands church services still continue, just via livestream rather than everybody being physically present in the same building. "Going to church" now involves opening your browser to the appropriate stream and focusing on that, participating as far as is possible, until it ends. As for families, most countries do not/cannot strictly enforce rules about visiting people, and people commonly visit each other still. (That's part of why we're still in a pandemic.) There's even people hosting general parties even though they're blatantly illegal.

Not religious at all, but my family celebrates easter as a thanksgiving style thing.

Thankfully I have lack of corona vaccine as an excuse.

This is one of the few games that allows based Christians to carry out their colonization and Deus Vult fantasies. Sandbox PVP games tend to attract right-wing people and the fact the game is so Eurocentric is perfect.

Christians aren't necessarily right-wing (though particularly in the US those are the most vocal). In fact, Jesus's teachings go directly against things like colonial exploitation and proactively going out and murdering those you disagree with.
