What was the point of Inner Party anyway? What was the reasoning to have such a group mainly made of people that don't even play the game and what were the posts mainly about in IP?

It was just like, a council of advisors I guess. Kind of like something a President or Prime Minister would have in order to help them make decisions. Unfortunately however the group didn't really work in that sense, it was more like jorb would once in a blue moon ask for opinions on some kind of mechanical change or what have you but for the most part it was just a place to give feedback after the fact that most likely went without a reply from either dev. Plenty of discussion ensued when it was more active regarding things like stat caps. It's also the place where moderation was discussed.

You're thinking about the members in the wrong way. They all played at one point in time and were added to the group because the devs felt they made significant contributions in some way but were never removed or replaced after they stopped contributing or logging in altogether and that's more the devs fault than it is anyone else's. I can assure you there were many attempts to try and get them to add new users. The group consisted of a number of players that played back in world 1 all the way until I think jordancoles was the most recent to be added. It could be said that they gave up on jorb and loftar which is why they stopped posting but I think blame falls on both sides. Just as an example of that I can tell you I have been pushing for Kingdoms since the inception of that idea and only now it seems they are actually going to do something with that.

Lately there were little to no posts made other than moderation related posts since as you said, most people in the group have either stopped playing or stopped caring about the game entirely.

It was also a great exuse to act like major cock to everyone else because "kool kids Klub" already discussed your topic so you don't need to now

well, I'm glad that the circlejerk got dissolved. Why can't they post the same thing on the public part of the forums where everyone can participate? It is a way better way to discuss things.

I assume it was to filter out people with bad opinion.
