As there will be map thingies from previous world.

Also I think that increased inventory size gives huge advantage. Especially when you progress to the game, with mrobe, tsacks and backpack extra column and row drastically increase the inventory size.

I think thats the idea, give a reason to subscribe. much like play-time originally did

Some suggestions for tackling the alt-botting problem:

1) Each player account is required to designate a "main" character. All other characters on the account receive no paid-for bonuses-- no convenience, no extra inventory space. Server-side, a flag is activated for main characters, and only an account's main characters may sit at a table and feast. This would prevent both alts and bots from developing stats at any sort of reasonable pace and reduce their labour efficiency.

Objection 1: Someone can create another account to bypass this.

Yes, they can, but are still penalized by the free account's lack of convenience and inventory space. If they want to pay to verify another account, then they're perfectly welcome to-- the people desperate to min-max and run multiple characters will be supporting the developers.

Objection 2: My main character is too pretty/important/awesome to risk in combat or exploring the world if I have no alt to forage/fight/mine for me!

Awww, muffin. You want a permadeath survival-crafting game, but don't want to assume the burden of risk which that entails?

Objection 3: Farming is hard work, and takes up so much time!

Yes, yes it is. And yes, yes it does. That's the way farming is supposed to be.

Objection 4: This will stifle PvP as no one will want to risk the investment they've made on their main character.

See Objection 2. In real wars, people die. People who were smart, or strong, or clever, or had lots of skills. They still died. Why should it be any different in a permadeath game?

You're cute if you think that would change anything, lol.

The point of alt is exactly having one character per account, so we can log multiple character at once to do chores (even without botting, fishing, woodcutting, mining can be done meanwhile for instance).

This wouldn't prevent alt neither than bot developping stats. It'd still be OP af. To add with that, it wouldn't reduce the efficiency of bot : the production would remain the exact same. Production which, at this moment, go on the main fighter is done with alt on other account.

Next suggestion "you can only eat what you craft" ?

Be realistic when you suggest something, please.

This pay to win shit is getting out of hand. Seriously 30% LP bonus was bad enough. Now 50%!?! Total bullshit.

Map gen better be amazing or I'm sitting this one out.

So regarding river improvement, did you get them to generate in a tree shape rather than a net shape?

I use one character only. I'm afraid I don't know the ins and outs of cowardice and laziness.

+1 to the general idea.

as it is currently advertised the model looks like a money grab which is not true, but feels like.

1. Keep the same bonus of Verified Account i.e. one time payment\donation method of contribution. Cause you have to keep it because players invested into it.

2. add layers of subscription. from really low - like 2 bucks a month to 15 bucks. give different scaling bonuses.

If a player decided to go with 1st option anf then to keep contributing - it's playe's choice. May be 1st option had a cool hat\cloth piece which subscription didn't ;)

3. 50% learning speed if you pay? so for the same amount resources player will get more lp... aren't that p2w element?
---> In the scope of #2 above - may I suggest to set a smaller bonus...to anyone who would subscribe for example? Even small subscription is a subscription.

In todays age of marketing you never want to turn away players. That means free to play and pay to play. If you have a diverse plan of revenue then you always maximize long term revenue. A pure pay to play system eliminates an entire field of players and potential future subscribers.

Now that being said lets let Jorb and Loftar decide what they need best.

Can't you guys at least TRY other payment models before selling your souls? Nobody wants this pay to win shit on haven. It's literally the worst thing you can do to this game. How are you so creative yet so out of touch? All the passion you put into this game is corrupted by this and you don't see it... 30% was bullshit but I was willing to put up with it. 50%? Might as well allow botting too.
