If its only nostalgia you guys should have literally zero problems with beating our arguments, yet all you do is acting like a retarded psychologist saying the same thing over and over.

Legacy system and current one were in fact the same thing in the fundaments. Both were card based combat systems that used "mana" (IP) and had some other elements (weight, intensity) - present in current combat as skills (zigzag for example). The difference is, the only thing new combat does is limiting possible tactics and has annoying mechanics (timed skills, attack types etc). Old combat was almost the same thing but it was done way better, with all skills available to use and (somewhat) balanced.
Really, bringing legacy system I feel like would be the easiest and quickest solution. Why do we need a completely new thing (new new combat, which was even more of a clusterfuck) if old was good?

Fixes were already proposed by devs and people - no hitboxes for signs is the easiest one, but not necessarily best.

So the problem basically is that we have only few attacks to use. I think the solution is simple - add more moves with more interesting mechanics. As for the seconds part (timed skills, attack types etc) - this is exactly the part where you should use your mind to win, not just pressing flex+punch to win (even if right now fights are looks like this because of agi)

Yeah spamming parry every second takes a lot of thinking and skill. Attack types are also a very interesting mechanic - definitely needed to use my brain to the hardest to create my combat deck (which 90% of the server is using).

and then after trying to hunt some animals they realized it's not actually ideal to only balance a combat system based on PvP suggestions only when there's an entire PvE aspect to consider as well

does the current combat system suck for pvp? Ya maybe it does. How is it for hunting though? I think it's perfect, new players have some trouble killing bears, mammoths or trolls but later on can learn and get enough skill to take those things down.

Cuz it was ALMOST the same, not 100% the same, there were some retarded moves that gave you 100% defence in one move etc, but after fighting AD a bit I felt like the combat system was way way better than the current one, even tho it still had some major flaws. I don't know why mods went all "fuck it, we aint doing that shit" cuz I quit playing and I dont really care that much, for me haven is dead but im still hoping that jorb and loftar will look back and resurrect their better child.

In old combat system animals were like 10x more dangerous, on this world I was able to 1v1 bears in first week of the world and in legacy you needed like 300ish stats to actually do that, noobs had to hunt them from boat and they were happy cuz that was easy but time consuming. Here in hafen trolls even on -5 arent a challenge for someone with 200ish stats that you can get in 1 week with no effort. When mammoths were added to the game I was killing them in the 1st day with no effort and I even have recorded that.
