I think the idea of having to travel with goods to do trades is a fantastic idea. Build them wagons boys!
Fuck all that porting shit. Games not fun if u can port everywhere with little to no risk.

I don't understand why anything else is even being discussed... It's such an elegant solution that has literally no downsides other than OPK alts being less likely to die than mains.

it's such an elegant NON solution, most people will not buy your stupid Murder skill.

This is debatable. Quickly deliver the goods and do something else or spend a real day on the delivery of goods.

Or... Have someone who enjoys trading spend a real day on the road for a portion of the profits WHILE you do something else. It supports multiple play styles mate, and provides opportunity.

I'm not a fan of the arbitrary growth speed of crops and trees without any way of being able to tell beforehand if the they will grow faster or slower, either add a way to survey the soil to see its properties or get rid of the mechanic, as it is now it's just a random bonus or negative you get because by time you're at the point to tell, you've built your village

That's kinda like saying sales tax increases opportunity. Except, worse, it's a flat tax imposed on inventory size. Most low value bulk goods instantly have near zero value. Unironically, I quit W8 because trading was no longer a viable end game, after playing W7 as a trader for over a year straight.
