Is this intentional or what?

They also run away when you get close to them.

Why wouldn't be 5$ /mo enough? Nearly everyone would be completely fine with that...

I have a lot of thoughts and impressions swirling for sure, but, no. I am not particularly bothered.

There is another problem which everyone is overlooking. It isn't the cost which can be argued differently from every economic level but is the amount of time available in the F2P option. As I've stated before I will never be able to afford a subscription. I would however still consider playing if the time on the F2P option was longer. 12/24 HOURS a month just isn't enough time to accomplish anything that won't be destroyed by those who can afford to pay. 12 DAYS a month or even 60 to 80 hours might be.
Just because someone has no money doesn't mean they don't work.
Just because someone hasn't paid doesn't mean they don't want to.
Those who believe otherwise need more "REAL LIFE" experience

When you count your eggs before they hatch, you tend to be disappointed when it actually comes to fruition. The cognitive dissoance is strong in Jorb.

It feels like haven and hearth had an incestuous baby with Salem, and it leaves a bad taste in your mouth.

I'll come back in a few weeks to see how it's going.

Best of luck, Seatribe!

My guess is that if J&L wanted to charge $5/month they would. And if they find in due time that the current pricing structure is too expensive, they adjust. But if enough people actually pay under the current pricing scheme, then in effect there's no reason to make it cheaper. Sometimes in economics you find out how much something is worth by charging different prices for it.
