Especially when you are able to loss literally all yearly(or even more) progress, by losing chicken/animals/crops.

Come support us small markets here.
The idea won't matter as much for big markets but small bois can set up their things more easily again if they are raided.

Either the players complaining about the danger of a raid turned soft or are in the wrong game. In the time I didn't play HnH I tried other crafting or survival games and all got boring very fast because everything is safe. End game w11 was almost to save.

Back in w4-6 as a hermit you had to play smart so you are not an easy target. Don't settle to close to rivers or high q nodes, hide your wealth etc. That was part of the fun. If you want safe farming join a village and be a farm bot or play another game.

Living alone in the woods was never safe and shouldn't be imo

Just a brickwall mandatory, which makes you unraidable same, as current siege mechanics.

Well it's not like every hermit is swimming in iron and steel. If you want to feel more safe you need to work more. I don't see a problem

why not make all of these changes applicabale to pclaims and vclaims that are within stricking distance of a natural resource?

everyone else can stay relatively safe by choosing not to claim a resouce.

people will surround natural resources at a given distance. sure, 1 or 2 people will. not many others have the power house to maintain that kind of powerhouse.
those 1 or 2 are going to ass fuck whomever they feel like with our without this change.

probably already mentioned? loads of responses though so point me to thread number if already been argued.

Every new world... Every major update.

"No one will ever play your game again!"

>.> Every world, there's more players at game start than before... Y'all are silly.

jorb: I don't want *your* money. You are rude and boring. Go away.
Sevenless: We already know real life has some pretty shitty game mechanics, it's why we're here instead.
Avu: The end is near it has finally come to pass: I agree with Lunarius...
Shubla: There are also other reasons to play this game than to maximize your stat gain.

im not saying no one will ever play again. im sure its going to be tweaked and we'll all be hooked. i just thought about how i would totally justify myself sitting around for 8 hours irl every 2 weeks if.... i got to keep my high quality nodes of natural resources.

otherwise yeah people will rebuild, and play hard after a siege. but if you want to up the ante on keeping a pclaim the trade off has to be worth it.

It is meant as PVP-Game and it's ok. I liked the fact that it was hard to destroy the stuff you worked for over the last weeks/months.

To all who say " you can talk to them" I can simply say: No. No they like to much to destroy your shit. And it is ok. Thats what this game is designed for. But for casuals like me it is time to move on and say good bye.

People can already destroy your shit. Probably much easier than they will be able to in w12 even, due to brimstone being cheap due to serious siege not being feasible. Raiding you is simply not worth either the resource nor the time investment.
