Please no. Teleportation is, which quite handy for the user, bad game mechanic wise.

Not everyone is in a situation where they can afford to pay $15 per account to play, so by default they are left to play the free version.

there is nothing better about it, and to claim otherwise would, indeed, just be ignorant.

Take away the $15 per account verification and reset the world, then let's see if you Hafen can even stand a chance against legacy playerbase.

infectedking wrote:Legacy was overall a better game I think due to it's simplicity and it's forgiveness (even in death for fighters). It's system allowed fights everyday (which happened continuously until he announced hafen release like 3months early).
So many players even quit due to the massive letdown when it came to "You can only play X amount of hours a week then locked out" sort of shit that got pulled (which lost atleast 10+ active players that I knew).
I've also felt that Hafen the way it is takes up way too much attention without easier automation. Legacy had a public bot client(yes i know you hate bots) but it allowed people to do things such as farming to feed their animals or leather or anything of the like while still remaining pretty casual at the game with no stress. I personally ran farming bot, mulberry leaf picker, ramchecker, butcher/cooking bot and that was all(which some would say is way too much). But it allowed me to run like 2clients doing little crappy tasks while playing other games such as WorldofWarcraft, Dota2, Planetside 2 while they were running which makes the game less stressful to get things done and more enjoyable.
Having to run every single little task makes it become more tedius, especially with everything running so slowly (such as butchering/culling/shearing animals).
Edit: It also allowed me to become a pretty successful hermit when it came to production and sales (which further promoted trading to keep the game alive).
