As long as the ram drying time is greater than 10 seconds, sprucecaps should be okay.

Back in legacy I got murderd as a spruce cap. I didn't even had a claim yet and some guy with bear cape tried to kill me. I ran away and ran into a boar that killed me. He didn't had to leave murder scent and the last thing I saw was him laughing in area chat. Fun times, thats why I love this game :D

Just make a moderately sized based with many wall layers spaced out appropriately to delay up to 8hs. Even a casual can do that over time. Bonus points if you do it underground with just a shitty farm above elsewhere. No one will even care to bother you and instead just ask jorb to make an easier siege system.

All proposed changes fine, PvP is fine, but .... the proposed siege is toxic. Get rid of those ideas.

Make ramming equipment attack wall, not authority. Put attackers authority against defenders authority... Fix potters clay...

you see the difference is it ISNT easy. easy for me is walking up to a wall and start pali bashing it that is easy and i would do it to every singe pali i come across.
i dont think ive passed a single wall where i couldnt just bash my way in to with out any work.
see homo sexuality trending,. do not do that.

I had... difficulty finding time to play HnH the past few years, and thankfully due to a switch up in profession I was going to have more free time this year to play what might be the last time I'll EVER have the time to play HnH properly. I can't take 8 hours out every two weeks. That's insane. This is time demanded by the game in order to avoid losing MONTHS of buildings and items to some rando that isn't even necessarily no lifing, just in a different timezone so when I'm inevitably called into work on a Siege Day I guess I just chuck all my stuff in the nearest river first?

Let us opt out of this somehow. There's already enough grind without adding literal full-workday positions as Night Watchman which is NOT fun or interactive, it's just mind numbing. Have a guardian spirit or whatever that needs fed Curios based on how many people live on your claim, lock sieges behind a skill like with Rage and give people an equivalent to Numen points for surviving Siege Windows/winning Sieges, ANYTHING other than this "diceroll to see if I quit this week" system.

A late suggestion: make the world map a sphere, or at least a toroid.

Why can't people at least read the damn post before complaining? You determine when the raid can happen. Unless you're an idiot and press Charge at random moments, it will never happen at a time you can't be available in your timezone.

8 hours is indeed excessive though, and the devs said they'll look into that, but they've been quiet on what precisely they're going to change.
