Got idea about sieges, dunno if good or not, but i think brainstorm is always priced.

Siege camps - doing this would costs aditional resources (material ones or not) and can provide attackers a fortified siege camp, where you can build catapults etc and move them freely to previously designated places near sieged village fortifications without damaging your siege machines. Defenders can wait to initial siege or destroy camp, which would require time and maybe resources (again material ones or not), too.

I can imagine this isn't possible to implement now, but i gave my idea.

I don't think so, as it contradicts with changes from viewtopic.php?f=39&t=60884

AS FOR THE ACTUAL CHANGES
that was a goddamn rollercoaster to read and i'm going to reserve judgement of the things i'm concerned about for now, until I've had time to try them. Tree changes mostly. Oh, and this:

I don't fight or siege but the changes to how Rage affects you interest me a lot.

Bounding box changes sound great, physical interactions in-game have come so far
Cave decay will throw me off constantly
Road/Travel/Ocean changes both excite and scare the hell out of me. I have no idea if it will help me avoid people or make it harder, though it almost guarantees more medium sized community areas.. right?

Theoretically, yes.

Theoretically, yes.

By theoretically you mean cave-in "radius" could be larger than mine support radius?

A cave in does not necessarily hit the next mine support.

But according to you:

jorb wrote:[*] Changed the mine support removal rules so that, whenever a mine support is removed, all tiles under it are checked for unstable mine tiles. If there are unstable tiles within range, which are now, with the removal of the mine support, unsupported, the removal will cause a cave in. This means that you can now tear down mine supports without cave ins, if you still have proper support around it. Suggested here.

cave-in can't happen in the supported radius...

edit: ok, got it. it may happen if the support is damaged enough by preventing those cave-ins.

Past slogging though this thread as it started and shaking my head with all that is been said a lot of whats been typed mainly just irritates me cause it makes a lot of people sound like there of the mindset there right every one else is wrong.

I am mainly just wishing the new world was here now. I can see whats new and how the changes will affect me, with out playing the game itself. I can suggest ideas over all to help add more flavor and better game play, when I am not in the game. Right now its just guessing in the dark on many things. The small interactions and so on that will make even something that sounds good, feel like it was a good change, or the other way around.

Either way and anyway. I just want today to be tomorrow lol.
