OCO is easily just remake the game in Unity, it'll be grand.

Sad they scrapped the HP/armour balance - was sure to have some teething issues/exploits but thats the eternal alpha

reset time is 19UTC, but place your bets as to when loftar can cobble together the servers such that they can actually support the dozens-strong playerbase flooding in

I say 20UTC sharp we’ll be able to bask in the latency

yes but we overload the server for at least an hour till it stabalizes, server crashes galore day1. But the initial world launch will probably be within 15 mins of the launchtime.
so this one time at band camp.............

Object-controlled objects are a server-side thing...clearly Loftar should remake the server in Unity ¦]

At one point in the reset announcement stream, Loftar explained that proper OCO would increase server load significantly because stuff, that could previously just sit idle, needs to have more stuff tracked about it.

Or something like that, IIRC.

i'm planning on getting home just in time to.. play Oxygen Not Included while waiting for the server to calm down

I'm still hyped though. Fingers crossed that the launch is the smoothest yet
