If it matters I'd like to reiterate that we see level capping as an experiment. I am not in love with the idea.

Yeah watching a number go up slowly every day surely was the thrill of a lifetime

maybe not for you

but for me i love to see the q of my crops + animals grow + be able to craft armour / curios higher than anyone else in the game (or at least have that possibility if i put in the time / effort)

You are pretty much like kaios only without the green name. Literally nobody cares what you think, and you are wrong.

To be honest the stat grind for the sake of the stat grind is one of the main replayability factors of the game, imo. But I thought we already discussed that the caps might be a bit silly and perhaps we'd instead go with different caps / perks to subbing?

Oh and as for people wasting 2 weeks or more worth of sub for the sake of an experiment, perhaps put the breaks on the sub counter till the proverbial poo hits the ventilator?

But an infinite stat grind is game longevity cancer. No one is going to want to hop in a game, where there is no hope of being competitive.

Now there will be a goal, less of a tole on someone loosing a character, and probably promote pvp, and skillbased pvp, instead of "my numbers are 10 times higher than yours" most successful games have a cap of some sort, its friendlier to new players, and new players are what makes a game successful.

totally agree with halting sub timers though.

my choice is to not have a cap that essentially ruins the game for my play style

Truth, as usual, is strictly a point of view masked behind a veil of false righteousness.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.
