no, the game mechanics are not your choice.

your choices are what you do within the mechanics.

So while it matters little for those with verified, and are somewhat casual - I will say that I think this new model will make paying LESS optional than before, if you want to be anywhere near competetive. ESPECIALLY for the un-verified players.

if the mechanics are to change so drasticaly that it destroys the way i like to play / have fun then i choose that i dont want to pay for a subscription

so either let me end my subscription on the current world / mechanics or refund it

Are we getting an optimized non-java client for W9? The current client can flatline an i5 to 100% CPU usage, my video encoder doesn't even do that.

Are we getting a full screen button ever? I use Windows like the rest of the world, all my other games have supported this feature since forever.

Are we getting music and sound that doesn't lag the game to death while constantly clicking and popping? My entire village had sounds off since day 2.

Are we getting a client that uses DirectX and the various features available on my video card? I'm part of that 99.999% of video gamers that use Windows. We do this because it's the best PC gaming platform - hands down, not even a contest.

Was a map generator with better rivers really a higher priority than any of this stuff?

Was W8 anything at this point but a training ground for bots? Also, and I know this has been asked over 9,000 times already, are you going to do anything about them at all in W9?

Just a few questions from my end.

Can we get an exact date, so I can use a vacation day?

You payed for a game that was in alpha and could drastically change at any moment, it's not a matter of whether you like that part or not, whining for a refund just because you dislike a change is immature at best.

Maybe you should dedicate your time to assisting in the defense of the altar, then, so you know the exact date will be two weeks from today. (yesterday? guess it depends on your time zone.) The altar went up before 1200 UTC.

With such low stat caps, is a few days really going to matter? The world, even if the same size as previous worlds, is going to be large enough that everyone is going to be able to fan out and find reliable places to settle.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.

I work hard, thus, occasionally, would like to play hard.

I am the must and would have the bargain, easy and uncomplicated. Free accounts up to 7 hours for new players become more familiar and learn the game and also for people who still can not decide to pay and accounts 5 euros monthly subscription, you quitarias people who complain of why we must pay for a game alpha and browser and more people who say it is very expensive 8 euros per month for a game like this. Would come to 17 euro cents a day and who the hell can not afford that, when they are already paying for the line. I is not consulted, it was like this and point and goodbye complaints

Odd - what would be the point in attacking the altar - this world is already dead. I guess you could get some more tears for those unfortunate enough to have monthly subs, run out what little time they may have.

I think they should credit everyone who has an active subscription 2 weeks additional time at world end - to make up for the wasted/lost game time. Have to wonder what the point is of even logging in at this stage.... This mechanic may be interesting for other games, just not liking it here.
