What would be better, though? I'd like to point out that this also seems to be the same model that Wurm uses.

I would have preferred a rebuilt altar or just a hard timer, but either way it's good.

If youre adding caps, are you going to add more pve content for end game, for those that dont pvp?

Why would botters be mad? They will be able to create dozens of stat-capped characters which still gives them advantage, especially in numbers wins based combat system.

Oh just btw, I only imagined the "quality caps" to be a consequence of the caps on skill attributes; not some explicit mechanic in and of themselves.

Generally, or on account of the 200 stat cap specifically?

I think the chief selling point is that it allows people to spend unlimited time in the game. The final stat cap is in some sense a different issue, and we could easily remove it if we wanted to. I consider that part an experiment.
