what was the logic behind stockpiling around it instead of just putting a fence on it?

It was supposed to be walled, but then the active people quit and the place was deserted. There were two people living there (or maybe three), not logging in for days, and with no intention in improving the village. If it weren't for the moot post I don't think anyone would have bat an eye on this matter.

can i visit you? please.

Please do. Secret is well known and gates are wide open. I recommend visiting the Sand Cat Tavern just a little to the NE. It's a beautiful project, I myself traded some stuff at their stalls. They are still improving the area, so it should come out even better. Too bad I guess they are Russian and it's hard to dialogue.

The only thing you need to take care is Odditown who harrased, killed or bashed every hermits or villages establishments in the close proximity.

I think he only means bug raid. DDOSing them would seem like you would end up affecting the server. And hacking their account? Now that falls past the juristidiction of the game and into security...

Why on earth would somoene have not seperatedly walled charter stone, instead, have it in the middle of the village or something? Weird ...

Inactivity and laziness, mainly.

Just have a look at the last wizard video posted.

Their charterstone is in the middle of the village, non walled.
But they where the ones taking the initiative and abusing the mechanic.

You can check devs response to this at the begining of this thread.

Oooohe neat judgment.

Guess whoever's still inactive in Tart has to now pack up and leave, which was already a long time coming.

I will continue to leave the gates open after that, leave the town as some sort of relic, maybe drop a few runestones warning on folly of reliance on new mechanics, but hey, this should be what, the third time R'l has gotten kicked down for the greater good?

Guess I'll be moving off all the inactive characters soon after, pore through the damages done too.
Fair handling, Olympus.

I approve.
W3 to W6 - Blockland. Special mentions: New Avalon, Tarn of Hotdog, Red October.
W7 - Elvenia, til we all got lazy.
W8 - Cult of R'lyeh, til the deeps called us back.
W9 - Tartarus, til death/wizards came for the land itself.
W10 - ???, ruined and forgotten.
