Because damn it, we're not psychic travellers with homing beacons to the rest of our flock.

Get out there and explore!

Re: Payment - I would be completely satisfied if the game were to persist as it had in the past, with updates coming as inspiration struck, resets when necessary or when major patches were made, and just generally having a grand old time. I bought my subscription before I even logged in because I knew it would be worth every penny, and I haven't been disappointed.

That is an incredibly ignorant thought process. This does absolutely nothing to stop large factions from ganging up, they now have even more incentive to be the first faction to group up and start dominating while others are scattered. Not only that but you are expecting people to simply team up with people they don't know in a game where someone who isn't trustworthy can fuck you over massively? I have a small group of friends I play with exclusively and this only hurts us.

Everyone gets to play for free, this is good. You want to play a lot, get a subscription. You don't like it, leave. Simple, we're not building rockets here.

Lets be honest here, 12 hours of playtime a month for a game like Haven is nothing more than a demo.

I agree. I have spent all of my precious free playtime trekking across the whole of creation to try and meet up with my group, instead of doing productive things like starting to build our settlement and gathering the resources to defend ourselves. I have been avoiding boars + bears and clicking in one direction for literally hours.

They provide a service. Do you want that service or not? All you people complaining is pretty sickening. Ungrateful is the word. Whether or not people played for years is neither here nor there. They provided the service for free. I can't imagine anyone over the age of 25 are the ones complaining here tonight.

So ungrateful.

I would gladly pay every months but :
1) what's up with the autism ? not telling the community we would have to pay is really disturbing (and the main reason I consider to leave HnH)
2) what's up with the verification bullshit ? 15$ + a monthly fee ? what ? really both ? even not all the major MMO pull this trick nowadays , wich brings me to
3) it's almost as expensive as any major MMO wich is kind of ridiculous imo ...

I'm extremely disappointed , I was super hyped , but I feel cheated ...
I'm ok to pay , hell even 10$ without the bullshit verification , but usually when I'm surprise butt-sexed I don't smile and buy the lube ...

Eve online costs 20 dollars or more to buy outright. Then you have to get a subscription fee for the subsequent months. ALL MMOs are like this.

Atleast any MMO worth its weight in salt.

In that case, Runescape costs about as much.

i'd say, for me atleast, its not about the paying its about how much and how they went about adding it to the game as well as the very poor side stuff that should be in a website and game that is going to be asking for the money they are asking for, its not being ungrateful i would happily pay if i knew it wasnt going to go into a void where the service continues as it has been with poor server support, bad forums (no dev tracker, when thats the only way to keep track of whats happening in development is read through pages of nonsense to get the one tidbit a dev says), and general lack of professionalism which is fine when its a f2p indy game, but not when you start asking for a month sub and at the prices they are asking (again).

Ignorant is the word. Everyone who doesn't agree with this sudden change is somehow lesser or immature? You expect anyone to take that seriously?

The only sickening thing here are the toxic players trying to silence and dilute discussion on this issue. Don't post on the forums with that kind of an attitude please and thank you.
