1) what's up with the autism ? not telling the community we would have to pay is really disturbing (and the main reason I consider to leave HnH)
2) what's up with the verification bullshit ? 15$ + a monthly fee ? what ? really both ? even not all the major MMO pull this trick nowadays , wich brings me to
3) it's almost as expensive as any major MMO wich is kind of ridiculous imo ...

I'm extremely disappointed , I was super hyped , but I feel cheated ...
I'm ok to pay , hell even 10$ without the bullshit verification , but usually when I'm surprise butt-sexed I don't smile and buy the lube ...

Why do you feel cheated? Because you expect things to be free? If they had everyone just one time purchase the servers and everything else wont get an upkeep. You guys want servers to run 24/7? Gotta pay someone for that! You want more features? Adding team members and paying them would speed that up.

People are extremely unreasonable these days. No offense but reading this thread after release was like listening to a Colosseum full of babies wailing like widows.

you seem to forget they hosted the game flawlessly for years without complaint

"Constructive" by trying to get your way? I can't believe they put up with you people.

They indeed gotta pay for their bills, but so do we. It should be a one-time purchase at most. Period.

All I see in this conversation is a lot of entitlement and upset people complaining about a game that was provided for years free of charge, the 72$ sub equals to $6 per month btw..

You or anyone else for that matter having to pay bills in this situation is irrelevant either pay for the game or don't. ;)

seriously. it's literally $0.20 per day. how many hours do you play this game every day?

The only sickening thing here are the toxic players trying to silence and dilute discussion on this issue. Don't post on the forums with that kind of an attitude please and thank you.

LOL Are you kidding me? How long did you play Haven 1? Toxic? Too bad we cant dig up the old forum to see how many assholes are everywhere. I am stating facts. There is no diluting the discussion. It costs money to run a game like this! There is nothing to argue about. Stop complaining. What really pissed me off was that someone was supposedly DDOsing cause they couldnt get their way. HNH isn't the god damn NSA. There is no issue.

Like I said they provide the service. Do your roads fix themselves for free? How about that internet you're using right now.

It's pathetic the arguments that I've read here tonight. Children!

Everyone gets to play for free, this is good. You want to play a lot, get a subscription. You don't like it, leave. Simple, we're not building rockets here.

Lets be honest here, 12 hours of playtime a month for a game like Haven is nothing more than a demo.

They provide a service. Do you want that service or not? All you people complaining is pretty sickening. Ungrateful is the word. Whether or not people played for years is neither here nor there. They provided the service for free. I can't imagine anyone over the age of 25 are the ones complaining here tonight.

So ungrateful.

Pretty much this. I'm trying to comprehend how someone, let alone a (loud) group can think that the time spent developing a game of this calibre, the upkeep of the servers, and the promise of future content, is worth... nothing. Even a once-off payment is pushing it (upkeep and future content costs $$$). How can you say this and expect people to not see you as an entitled child? Sorry about the rant, but these people make me angry when I think that the devs most likely read these comments and possibly become disheartened by them. Damn cheapskates whinging, honestly.

I almost feel like a right winger stating my opinion but the fact of the matter is everyone should be paid for their labours.

Woot Marx!

Also " I'm trying to comprehend how someone, let alone a (loud) group can think that the time spent developing a game of this calibre, the upkeep of the servers, and the promise of future content, is worth... nothing."

Because that's the mentality the mainstream industry has created. I know guys who work on engines and studios like EA and Ubisoft and even they think its better to give your game out for free. They work for massive corporations though. Nothing like 2 friends working together to make an innovative working experience.

Hopefully everyone was just drunk and tired and come to their senses. The game is quite awesome actually I see how they fixed a lot of things from Haven 1. Changed things around. Combat is easier and the game still has so much more potential. I can already see where I think they might be going with some mechanics in the future.

I'd really like spears tho haha.

And a pet falcon to catch rabbits with.

Is there any game out there, that is more expensive than current hnh?

Also, amazing servers for such prices. I guess it's melted by now.

It's not about paying , I already said it I'll gladly pay.
It's about the way they did it , you can't make a massive change like this without telling anyone and think you'll get away with a simple " oups sorry LOL we forgot to tell you about it"
Charging almost the same amount than other big MMO is kinda absurd too and I understand ppl complaining about it
( I don't care much to be honest tho :p)
