You know what's not related to running? Restoring the original use of the Charter Stone so people can (with an appropriate disclaimer and warning) choose an active charter stone to teleport to right out of the starting room. Ideally, given the current use of charter stones, it would be a new structure (or toggles on the Charter) so that you can determine whether it accepts new people, accepts trading travelers, etc.

The password thing isn't even the same experience, don't bring it up to me as an alternative solution.

This provides people with an opportunity to greet new players and introduce them to the game that have never even looked at the forum, and if properly warned with a pop-up prevents (unexpected) griefing of noobs before they go through. In fact, with the death mechanic, as it sits, they could just port back into the launch room and pick another charter stone if they got ganked at the first one.

Whatever you do, give us this utility back.

jorb: I don't want *your* money. You are rude and boring. Go away.
Sevenless: We already know real life has some pretty shitty game mechanics, it's why we're here instead.
Avu: The end is near it has finally come to pass: I agree with Lunarius...
Shubla: There are also other reasons to play this game than to maximize your stat gain.

Can we all relax and let them finish the new world, with out angering the devs? I would like to get into the game, not watch them get mad so much.

The drinking change would be a good thing, if hitting the drink key again were to stop you from drinking without stopping you from moving

In any case, last world I was part of Northern Kingdom - we were taken down late in the world and my village was just across the lake from the capital. Throughout the whole siege our village wasn't touched and I doubt it would have been even if claim shields didn't exist. Like some of the more experienced players here have said, it's unlikely that big factions will commit so much to siege your nab village for lols.

I had plenty of time to grab what "good" shit I had and book it. If you're a casual player just appear so and you should be fine.

Yes, yes, the new world, I know that there will be many people in the first month or two. But after two months??

Why is such a good game but can't keep the player playing? It is worth to think. Every time there is a large group of returning players for the new world, but they will run back to play other games in two months. Other games can be played for half a year, one year, ten years, twenty years...and here only two month. why?

As you said, I am a casual player, farming and feeding animals every day. I saw when I was chased by a wolverine a player unknown passerby and save me. I saw a veteran player to help new players who just started the game. I also saw village where the casual players were smashed, and the fun of the robbers are ONLY to destory everything in front of the newb to make them sad, when the casual player restart and build a home, they come and destroy it again. What kind of players do we want in this world?

There are two or three veteran players in front pages who disagree with my thoughts. They recognize the jungle law without a bottom line. But our world is different from the real world. When human beings live in the jungle, they will unite and help each other, natural world is where dangerous come from, and here... the mankind is the most dangerous. Think about this game, when we see a white spot on the minimap, are we choosing a happy conversation or a four-speed run?

I can understand the desire to show the power they never can get in reality but in the game, unfortunately they refuse to understand the purpose of more people. No one want to live in the game to be more darker than the real world. If I was twenty years younger, I might fight them until the end of the world, but now, I really don't have time to do that. Mostly people don't have time to do that.

I only know that in reality, we will keep in touch with friends who play games together ten or twenty years ago. When we are traveling, we can sit down and have a drink. It will only be because of the goodness of the year, but never because of how brutal it was.

Maybe because I am old.

About running and drinking water, can you consider add a weight-bearing system? The heavier the equipment and backpack, slower speed and the greater the stamian drain. the weight might be Steel>Iron>Bronze>Copper>Wood>Cloth=Grass? The backpack with full buckets of water make the char run slow but can complete the marathon or make it empty but run faster to escaped? Maybe the final speed will be BaseSpeed x AGI / Weight ?
