Proposing to rewrite the priorities and brains of two people, as means to remove Very Evil Aggression from their online medieval fantasy simulator is… a curious idea, to say the least.

PvP is poor, but it isn't the real problem, botting on multiple accounts is. There are players who focus exclusively on PvP because bots handle everything else for them. Forcing logins exclusively through Steam would eliminate or drastically reduce the issue. If PvP players had to manage their own economy and spend actual time scouting for targets instead of having bot sensors at every Thingwall, then the problem of constantly slaughtering honest players who don't use bots would be greatly diminished.

Just play world 16. No one plays to pvp, they just grind, and if someone is griefing you, Discord message to some titans and they poof them outta existence. Instead of what ever resolution you didnt specify to prevent griefing in PVE.

Unless this is one of Snails troll-ops, he has run a village completely on bots. When the system ground down because someone took the bot's Butter Porridge, nobody bothered to fix the bot (either by making it accept other food items or even manually making porridge to "hand-crank" it) and it only restarted once they found some porridge in ruins (or a village they were raiding) and it was placed in a container that the bot was checking for food (it couldn't make food because it was prevented by an energy threshold.)

The other example is even more dubiously hearsay, but allegedly there are people running villagers that work more like Dwarf Fortress than what any regular/casual player build. Fighter characters being raised are operated by feasting bots, selecting optimal foods form tables replenished by cook bots. Farming is obviously automated. There's presumably separate un-skilled bots for menial hauling and stuff.

So you believe BitCraft isn't much fun because it lacks open-world PvP or... :?:
That's hardly the main problem with that game, so I don't really understand why you're bringing it up as an alternative to HnH.

unironical pve only advocates in the big 2-6 is mental

along with the obvious solution of: just play world 16 for a chiller time, idiot

If you can’t enjoy the inherent tension of granular progress LARP coexisting with PVP fuckery, this is not the game for you. I don’t know how else to say it; no matter how jorb frames the issue in eg ‘Developer Thoughts On PvP,’ it is more correct to understand pvp as “Something these gnomes WILL NOT remove from the game exactly because they want it there,” as opposed to a necessary/unfortunate ‘byproduct’ of the PVE game you might foolishly suppose they want to make (or eg that you’d prefer to play).

Don’t waste your breath.

As for the pvpers complaining about this siedge or the other safepali being borked and awful, you must (hopefully, by this point) understand that the devs are terrible at understanding pvp systems (and game design more broadly) and, as these decades of evidence demonstrate, they have no strong intention of changing that fact or delegating certain aspects of the game to someone who does (read: trusting their precious baby into the hands of some internet denizen).

Developer Thoughts On PvP’ is older than some people around here. People tend to change their views on things throughout their lives, after all.
I won't stop bringing up Escape from Tarkov as an example of a PvP-focused game that implemented PvE servers after roughly eight years of being against the idea. These hardworking gnomes might actually break the record!

And really, what else am I supposed to do on the forums if not waste my breath like everyone else?

The only way to make it work is making it not an MMO, but co-op game where you host, you invite your friends and you do whatever you want without griefing. Maybe if devs made it like side project as one time buy on Steam, some pve people would stop complaining and could buy that thing.
