if you were not wearing armor and you were running at 3 real looking people instead of creating distance ye I'd put that pretty firmly in the suicide category

I think I had light armor on (wings + boots or something) and was out foraging. Got insta aggro'd at a thingwall I was teleporting through iirc.

Yeah, I suppose it was assisted suicide. Issue though is I only had 2-3 waterskins and at that point I didn't feel like wasting 20 minutes of running only to have to fight anyways.

Edit: I suppose game knowledge is part of skill in a MMORPG? Am I supposed to go out in bronze armor + when I'm just foraging? Having two extra clothing + gilds is pretty normal no?

You can make couple of screens distance in a minute with some speedbuff luck. You made the wrong decision and died. And it's okay, as long as you were paying close attention to what was happening on the screen and won't make the same mistake again.

this is a weird cope I hear so much from people and I just don't believe you tbh you would rather run for 20 minutes than die, you just panicked/didn't know what to do

a 6/10 runner is going to escape a 10/10 runner in like 3-5 minutes usually anyway, and there are not many 10/10 runners

you should be wearing full armor at all times I rly don't see a reason not to unless it's like ur first week or two in the world

Oh I would definitely have preferred not to die but I was pretty burnt out already at that point so I figured I'd see what happens if I stood and just defended since it was my first 3v1.

This is the first time I've heard of always wearing full armor tbh. I can see the reasoning behind it now that its pointed out but its definitely one of those things that isn't intuitive I think.

I would rather lose a set of disposable gear than spend even 5 minutes participating in tardrunning. Least enjoyable aspect of the game by far, even less than steelmaking without bots.
