Seems people glossed over the most important fix (in my opinion) which is the mount issue. If it works, it allows them to finish horses.
One could argue that there still needs to be combat tweaks before everyone is able to have virtual perma-turbo mode, though.

Actually, it wouldn't be a bad idea to have a quest that gives you one stone and discovers it for you to ease up the stone crisis at a new game.
Or, you could atleast have a quest where you have to dig from a mountain terrain, that way new players dont have to travel for hours for their first stone just because they didn't read the forum's guides before playing.

It is my great hope that the quest system will essentially render the first part of my guide obsolete.

Yes, teaching them that they can dig stone from grey terrains is a more immersive way to solve that problem in my opinion.

I'm personally wondering if a full on siege and combat overhaul will come with a world reset if the changes are fairly massive, though I suppose then you'd have to wait for everyone to progress to the point of besieging one another to test any of the changes.
