give shit weight. whoever carries more weight runs out of stamina first :P
make it scale a little with str and or con. voila.

someone in platemail shouldnt be able to run as fast/long as someone in linen

Try drinking water while running at full speed IRL. One of two things is going to happen:

* you slow down in order to focus on coordinating your drinking and running properly
* you're going to choke and cough really really hard
(I've done one or both of these things on a few occasions)

Easiest implementation i can think of: Drinking while running reduces your movement speed somewhat, to say 80 or 90% of your selected movement speed.

Another option is to add a % chance to choke on the water if drinking while moving. This would cause your toon to stop moving, and possibly have a short cooldown/recovery period before doing anything else. Taking it a step further, the faster you're moving the higher the chance to choke.

If y'all are feeling particularly sadistic, rundrinking could result in both reduced movement speed and choke chance.

Mods could open a new thread for the running in battle chat. Its a good one and devs are interested on it.

When I first saw the mole on my mini map I was like ARMADILLO! Then I caught it and it said mole. That paw bone though....thats one hell of a gilding item.
