Did you think on reduction of the demand for food by livestock. So far cultivation of beet for animal occupying too much time. :(

Every reduction will instantly be countered by an increase in animals, so it'll just raise absolute production...

this, people have just the right amount of cows that they will put in the effort to feed, there's no solution to this nonproblem

But there was no problem in legacy haven. Why is it now when you can't eat infinity. On my farm in W6 was 40 cows which where milked very often and I not spend so much time feeding them.
