Guess I won't play H&H 2.

To be fair, I don't remember many online games lately that launched cleanly. The initial load is always much bigger than the peaks a month or two later, and even with extensive testing in betas, there's bound to be problems. Remember Aion? Lineage? SW: TOR? Albion Online? I could go on :) It usually takes a month or two for everything to stabilise, even with big-profile MMOs.

To me, it's not that. They took the criticism and said 'Fuck these people, there's few if any valid points in what they're saying. The price point is all that could really be wrong." and then they went to bed without confirming the game would be up for any more than an hour. At least this game isn't actively cutting into people's active playtime available by being down.

Still really let down by the sub fee, won't be paying or playing. The worst part of this is that now, they'll probably never transition to it being free; they'll just take it down if they don't make enough, because they aren't getting what they feel they're owed. There was a weird line drawn today about what is to be expected. Now that the devs expect money for their work, people would be all the more worse to them for bailing on the game - on a bad update, long server outage or poor server decision - at least in their eyes.

There's a huge difference between a 100% clean launch, and a game that straight-up cannot be started by a significant portion of players and is down for most of its intended launch date.

... but that's not at all what we said? We said we would give it some time to sink in, listen to the considered feedback wed' get, and make adjustments accordingly.

The only points I've made is that A) I am not going to scurry away changing things at the drop of a hat just because some people display their emotional incontinence and scream at me, and B) we do not as such apologize for there being a store. There needs to be monetization.

We will iterate on the store, just as we iterate on everything else.

Not realy solvency public, 48 hours and they will be done.

I think he meant the devs of the other mentioned games.

There is no problem with monetization as such, but price is on level of AAA MMO with stability, support and many other things. Maybe i can pay it once, but not my friends that didnt dig it that much. I dont wanna play alone.

And subscription? Are u kidding me? It's not serious.

Jorb, please release the soundtracks for a small fee. I'd be willing to pay like, five euro's for the soundtrack. It was the first thing I heard ingame and I think that atleast the music is one big improvement. :/

I feel like a lot of people with points ruined those points by stating them angrily. I feel like too many of the responses you gave were just "I'm sorry you're mad." You have every right to respond that way, but I understand why so many people feel betrayed by the pay option, and hopefully you do too - I marked the date for this game's release on my calendar and moved it up when it was delayed. I was on-board an eight man hype train all set to hop into the game and break rabbit necks. Being in a room with eight people who suddenly have to

A). Decide whether or not you were joking
B). Realize you aren't, and say "Fuck it " after something like a year of cumulative

does wonders for making all eight of those people hop directly on the "Fuck Jorb and Loftar" train. I was on that train for a while, and refrained from posting for the duration.

I am no longer on that train.

However, despite embarking from that train, between the fact that I have no direct method of paying for any online transaction, the fact that hearth secrets don't function as they did so grouping up would be significantly harder, and watching the server smolder quietly for 12 hours, I still don't feel like I have a reason to take steps toward paying to play the game.

That being said, I'm extremely interested in seeing what happens with the game. I may one day pay to play, but that time isn't now.

I get it. I wish you guys well. Good luck.
