That's not true, though. Subscription can, as stated, be had for $6/mo.

I was talking about one month :) I`ve never played HnH for year through, i can play it few month and right now 1 month is 10$ and 3 months are 9$ per month.

If you lose the main community, there won't be anyone to pay you anything, Jorb. You might think that a small playerbase is fine, but it's not for the community itself. Playing on a 1k people server is not the same as 50 man. Without the people this game is nowhere near as involving.

I really don't want to believe that you fail to comprehend the importance of the community in this game.

This is already the case, though. Paid time only ticks while the server runs, and that is always going to be the case, not just now at the start.

And what about people paying for subscriptions instead of individual hours? How do they feel about getting burned for picking that option?

Thank god there is audience from the richest countries. They will pay 10$ - 15$ per month after 48 hours of initial play time, no shit.

Indeed :) Maybe 10% of current population, if not less, are stated ad Germany and USA. So yea, much audience, so money.

Jorb and Loftar, Can you do something about dream catchers? its closing in on 11 hours and I haven't gained a single dream. The timer for those are too long, I've been playing more Diablo 3 than hafen since I don't want to risk losing the location of my friends camp. It's not fun, its frustrating.

No1 should have bought the sub yet, not until the game time is out.

Look, I'm only trying to shoot straight with you. You are not entitled to anything, and if that doesn't sit well with you then Alt + F4 is always an option.

I feel I need to underscore that it is what it is, is all. We may change things down the road, evolve them further, make it more to your liking, but I can't guarantee that.

If you expect me to deliver

  • A flawless server, running perfectly smoothly on the first day of operation with full uptime.
  • A feature list rivaling ten year old MMOs.
  • For free
Then I kind of feel obliged to inform you that, no, that is indeed not what we have on offer here. This is a game developed by two (2) enthusiasts solely on the premise that it could be awesome.

I want you to play. Obviously.

But we need to be clear about what the circumstances actually are. This game is fairly well polished, I would argue, but the server infrastructure and whatnot have not been seriously tested, as testing that would imply, well, launching.

Here we are.
