On the topic of selling an amount of playtime:
I think it would be very beneficial. RIght now with the only form of gametime you can buy is an unlimited time in the game for a limited time frame. This means the value people can get out of this time is dependent on how often they can play within said time frame, ergo the price is more efficient for more hardcore players than others. Granted there is this threshold of 1h per day of gametime which is the limit for F2P (also smartly spread out as 7h per week so it does not need to be used daily). I think it is still better to not neglect some players who might want to just splurge a 10h-48h session or something, where clearly a specified amount of playtime is better than a subscription. The difficulty is finding the correct balance (clearly there was some bumps with the original F2P playtime :P ), but you could look at the statistics about playtime to determine a good balance.

I've considered it, but I'm not sure I want to add incentives to cut down every damn tree just because.

Will you be making certain woods affect quality of certain items? Such as how a certain wood affects the usefulness of a bow? Yew would be one of the best.

If it could be done I'd like to see the type of the wood used in the name of a bow. Like "Yew Hunters Bow" or "Elm Hunters Bow"

Same with things like stone axes? Flint would have a better quality as a cutting tool than many of the other rocks, though I have to admit I haven't seen all the types rocks yet :P

i say have both of them
for the people play a lot the monthly option is better
I say 200 hours for 10 bucks or $15 for a full month playtime unlimited hours for that month

But for players that dont play a lot, 200hours would be muchh cheaper.
