Yea, I'm a fan of the bonus speed, doesn't feel p2w at all to me. I think it has minimal enough impact, and people are over playing how often they actually spend time in game crafting.

Tarnum wrote:In this game time is must important. Build and craft is a big part of game. Well if you can build/craft on 2x speed, you will got alot time for found best curioses and make food + you got 30% extra lp.
For exemple boiling river pearl mussels eat alot time (i hunt on pearls around 1-2 hours every day), with 2x speed you can easy make pearl necklace and got MORE % lp.
Well it means play without subscribe is just a waste of time.
Now i see choice: stop play in this game or buy subscribe, not shoure whot i will choice because this game is not for 1 mounth, it will need pay every mounth by years.

I think 30% is big advantage already. But yes, when you got 330 cup here 2 ways: 1) pvp 2) build something cool like a trade city or something

Well, add craft/build speed is good idia, but this % seems too high.

Tarnum ... I agree time in game is important but I feel you are over thinking it a little bit. To your or my playstyle, and the average playstyle, it isn't going to make that big a difference, it is more just a bonus of convenience. It becomes more of an issue the more competitive you are in the game.
The payment model based around the cap was never going to work for the devs, there is no incentive to subscribe for the average player other than to show support. By the time the average player reaches the cap the extra 30 points aren't going to mean a lot.
Tbh, I don't really feel this is going to make the majority of players who can't or don't sub change their mind and start subbing.
The best way for a game of this nature to make good money is still through cosmetic purchases ... a road they seem reluctant to go down, though I'm not sure exactly why.

Anyway, if you enjoyed the game prior to this update and are not in a position to sub it doesn't then make playing a waste of time, you simply continue as before and enjoy the game. Only one of my accounts is subbed atm, I am not going to sub the other just for a speed increase that means little to me other than convenience. It is not suddenly going to push me into the competitive zone for which a lot of other elements are needed.

This will not work for hnh. In all those games like PoE or Dota2, who get millions from cosmetics there are many new people you see every day, so you can actually show your cosmetics to someone (in haven? travel for 4 hours, see noone).
Also, #1 permadeath game rule: never become attached to your character, because it can die at any moment. So all those cosmetics doesn't make sense, because you become more attached as you invest more 'decoration love' into your character

Tarnum you could just verify if you dont feel like subbing. You get a little bit of a bonus and the Devs. get at least a bit of appreciation for the game you are spending hours playing.

Well, enough people ask for them, it's not just on your character, it's design for your base and village as well, such as with the sketchbook pages which I've been having fun with lately. I'm fully aware my char can die at any given time but I don't lose my hats or pages, they will still be there on my next incarnation, I may lose the shield I've just crafted but the cost of replacing it if necessary isn't too big an issue.
Yes, if something offered was over priced, then no I wouldn't purchase, though I'm sure some still would, imo it's just having a balance over pricing and providing a combination of items in a way that you can keep some of them, even after death, such as the hats.

As for showing off your look, it's not just about that, it's a personal pleasure, well it is to me anyway. Most players play in groups anyway and there are always screenshots. :)
I have no problem meeting other players this world anyway with the smaller map, there are people all around me on both my chars in separate areas. I have yet to go one day without meeting other players, lol.

Yarrow and linseed oil.
