you realize we had made gear or traded for gear OUR stats cant reproduce now, and that gear can not be made into what it was

IMO this should have been done on a world reset

I see potential to be a fun thing...

But based on the idea of IMPROVING items, not trying to, by luck, make now useless items useful again.

In other words... the whole balance so far worked around the idea of those items already giving some stats... Like, how will the new useless nettle gear work on the early world? Will making nettle gear still be as important in the early game?


For that reason, I must be honest and say that right now it kind of sucks (IMO), especially because doing so now and without any warning kind of feels like cheaply changing the rules in the middle of a game... Ok, eternal alpha, etc, etc... but still...

For me, the only way it could work as a fun thing was if items would at least still give half (or more - like 3/4) of their former stats, allowing us to try our luck by improving them further. But, if not, at least not spending lots of materials on useless items.

Gear should give SOME buffs, and gilding should add on top.

Why would a nooblet make nettlegear now? When I started I NEEDED and relied on those buffs.

Add back the base stats while allowing us to gild.
Let the gloves and belt slot be guildable.

ive now lost major stats from items i traded high end goods for and I cant get those stats back

No, it is rather so that the higher values you have in the attributes that are matched, the closer you will get to the upper bound.

maximum bonuses in skill/stat seems to be = to the actua value in that skill/stat.

I still do not understand why i have 2% gilding with bear tooth + bear cape ql33 and 2% with bear tooth + bat wing ql 10
