The server crashing is not the hardware, but the software, i.e. the game server we built ourselves. It's not something you can buy.

We have to fix the bugs that cause the crashes, quite simply.

You could start investing a bit more time in reporting stuff on the forums.
At least try and make a forum zone for Shutdown Logs/Patch Events like every other mmo does when the server does down or something new is implemented or a bug is fixed or found.

If the server shuts down post a topic with why, how much and what it's getting fix then lock it. That way we know what's happening and what to expect ingame.

I guess 10$ is a reasonable price for all you work on HNH and HNH2 but at least give us a stable server where we can actually play and not just sitting on the main page clicking F5 button. Please?

Then suddenly you push out your friend from boat (that's we - players) without any kind of warning and then you offer lifejacket for money or say goodbye for the rest who can't swim and just are destined to drown. I wouldn't mind paying like 1-2$ (but it's just me. I'm not rich. Like you, I have my own life.) per month, but I would like to know things before they suddenly happen and drown with the rest of unlucky people along with the griefers.

So since you are such good friends, I am sure you cared to ask your friend about how they are doing and that you played and paid in Salem as well to support a friend in need.

I have to apologize for my previous posts in this topic, I was kind of mad and in the heat of the moment, because shop and paid in game time was a big surprise. A little hint next time please.
Anyway, game looks pretty cool. So much new stuff, like a lot of trees/berries sorts.
Going to test it further for next free 46 hours and decide if it's worth to buy a subscription.

I rather have them work on the issues than psot about every little bug they encounter. There is nothing major going on right now, just fixing stuff that occurs as the game progresses. Server crashes when a bug occurs, goes up once it is fixed. The end.

I'm pretty sure that adding that bookkeeping to loftar's already packed list of things to keep an eye on won't be a net positive for the game. We need to prioritize what we spend time on, and the gain from this documentation seems very marginal in my estimation.

What about not asking for money until your software allows people to actually play the game?

Awesome. Please do.

It's all good, bro. There's skin on our noses. :)
