Well, I'm still having fun ... why not just travel around and explore, it's only a few days now, nothing to lose. Or host parties or just open up your villages for ppl to come see what you've done. :D

I'm hoping to visit two later today.

Talking of which;

If you can guess it, lol, feel free to visit ... :P

Places of interest close by include a huge mountain to the north/west, 2 swamps just above the base to the north, a pretty blue swamp to the east and a little cove, where I found the thanes ring, to the west. :D

Pretty much! We have a fairly big laundry list, but we've been knocking things off it. Today's dev session starts in an hour or so.

New payment plan sounds much better than the old one. It has already piqued the curiosity of my friends again.

Being able to log in without worry of time to do some menial tasks like foraging and feeding animals whenever you like is a far better business model that won't turn people off. The people that want the old system back are retards that are fine with the server having sub 50 people playing, so if you want to listen to them and their "tell the majority of people that you lost because of the piss poor old payment model" attitude, then be my guest, but that is a stupid way to go about things.

The new system solves all of the problems of the old one. If those people that bought subscriptions in this world now still buy subscriptions in the next world (to increase their stat cap), then nothing changes for them. All this new payment model does is give people the chance to login and play around without a time limit if they don't pay the subscription fee for a week or two(at the cost of gimped stats).

Also a stat cap should have been added years ago. Whenever I tell anybody about the game, one of the few consistent things that turns them off about the game is the technically infinite stat and skill cap. Because of this, you can never catch up to somebody who starts before you, providing they know what they're doing.
Maybe now these shitters will actually have to get good at the game, rather than just beating people by having a sheer stat + skill advantage over them.

Anyway, the new payment model will still see the majority of people buying subscriptions, but the punishment for not having one (if you are having money issues for a week or two for example) are not anywhere near as punishing as the old system.

I'd rather have gimped stats and infinite playtime over my regular stats with timed playtime.

Indeed this might be true.
Do we want server to be populated with 50 botting tryharders that play hnh 24/7. Or with few hundred players?
Capping all stats might not be as bad idea as it sounds.
