A penalty nonexistent in reality, apart from completely inexperienced bowmen who would miss anyway.

Btw, aren't you planning any archery changes?

AH YES! THIS PLEASE! Leave horses just for fast travel, not combat - that would be a positive change towards the gankiness problem. Horses are cancer for this combat. Onfoot running - drinking should be overlooked also.

I might even get back into combat :o
There was a wise soviet conscript that was surrounded by the enemy on the battle of Stalingrad. A mortar shot teared his pants apart causing a big hole in his pants right on his right butt cheek. He felt a glorious cold ass breeze of wind on his butt cheek, like it would be sent by stalin himself, he said - hide your butts

This issue should be addressed by implementing a saddle with stirrups, like they did irl back when they realised one needs a proper footing while mounted. No saddle - horse just for travel and punching rabbits.

Combat. Combat. Combat. Why don't anybody speaks of a real problem - they added hedgehogs - but nobody see them.

Because hedgehogs only spawn in four forest and two grass terrains.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.

They seem kinda rare even on the biomes they do spawn on. Certainly less than rabbits and squirrels anyway.

I assume the problem is that 6 biomes is not well spread all over the world and are concentrated in some regions. So many people (mainly from NE regions) just can't find them.
