its lagging for me, with is weird since mi ping is great (custom client thing?)

Do note that the cache will start up empty, so there may still be some initial lag when everything is being loaded into the SSDs.

You're probably having something cached. I myself had to restart my client, and I'm not sure why. Perhaps Java has some kind of internal DNS cache.
