If that is the case you do realize you're a fuckton more shit than not being able to play haven? Everything produced externally is more expensive from food to technology, your economies are crumbling and that means either famine or war when your leaders get frustrated enough and an impoverished population is easy to whip into a war frenzy. Related to that I see a lot of 1-4 post people coming to forums to tell us how bad it is that the game will lose it's community if the russians can't play but I never seen them that integrated into the community anyway. I always treated them as really malicious npcs and they rarely disappointed.
Don't ever bring politics into game. I never did and you shouldn't. I am not fond of my own country politics and that is all to it. And I specificaly stated about CIS too.
And about another grocery... I am not as poor to not pay at all. I just have to take more things into consideration. It's not that simple as it was.
Don't get me wrong. I've been playing for quite some time before on previous worlds. Made some peaceful villages with my friends. And was about to return. But this is situation is a bit similar to what happened to Heart of the Winter addon to Guild Wars 2. They too were unable to mention some crucial things before relaying monetation specifics and had a long lasting shit-storm going on. It still goes in fact but less intencively. And Arena.Net had to make some concessions. We are still yet to see if this affair will leave any hole in their budget though.
Anyway. We are here because of the feeling that the things are not yet in solid and can be changed one way or another. Be it given a majority or time. When people will see the boundries of given oppotunity some will just leave, others stay. Nothing more, nothing less. That's why I said about a "bargaining point". No hard feelings at that. Those can mature only from too strong words.
