I want to play but can't affor a $54/month game. And i don't wanna. I can eat the entire month with that money. For f*cks sake.

Oh shit. Oy vey.

Thanks Dilma.

You can eat the entire month with 54 reais ? In Brazil ? Dude, you are awesome.

Well, not the entire month. Not the entire week actually, i was just being dramatic. The prices are f*cked too. But not too f*cked as paying 54 reais to play. My food costs about 150 reais/month (cuz i live alone and my work gives food). Its like 10 days without eating to play.

A final thought: The store was really not that central in our minds. We put together something we figured could be reasonable and relatively unobtrusive, and we did so very much as an afterthought to our primary objective, namely to make the best game we could.

I'm sure we'll iterate regardless of what happens.

Could you please explain how this shop seemed reasonable and unobtrusive? I'm genuinely curious.

I have played HnH with friends in the past and I have been looking forward to playing again, but as it stands I can't play without paying.

When we played, I played multiple hours per day, but lets say I would play 1-2 hours each day (might be a low estimate) now. If we avarage that to 1.5 hours, then I'll get through the starting play time in 32 days, so around in a month of playing. After that I'll be dependant on the monthly Play Time refillment, which allows me to play for 24 minutes per day per month. That's less than 1/3rd of how much I would likely be playing and either I would have to watch how long I play each month, which would reduce my enjoyment of the game or I just simply wouldn't be able to play the game few days each month, which would be annoying as well in a game like this, where others get ahead while you aren't playing.

If I pay 15$ for the account verification, then the amount of Play time I get monthly would triple, which would let me play around the time I think I would intend. But I would still need to limit myself a bit, because I would still want to play a bit more than what the monthly Play Time allows me to and if I ever want to play more, then even this won't be enough.

So how is this unobtrusive and reasonable? I really don't understand, because it seems like it would heavily limit the ability to play the game for most people. Not to mention, for 15$ I can easily and fully buy a game of this size on steam and not be limited in the way I play the game. Same thing with the subscription cost.

Well I had intended to come back to play Haven and Hearth 2.0 but after seeing this completely insane and ridiculous pay2play model. I'm moving on to better games. 15 a month for unlimited access is out of hand. What happened to the developers? Drug addiction? I would pay 5 a month for this game or a one time charge with a cosmetic shop but not this. Might as well just play Life is Feudal. At this rate game will fail and rightly so. Teach these money hungry assholes a lesson.

I still say it should be cosmetics and character slots and maybe MAYBE inventory slots, perhaps make it be lost with the player, maybe have it last 5 deaths, i dunno. I feel there are good options out there that work a bit better, IMO, but I make enough monthly to pay a little when i need to, so i can roll with what they think is fair for a while at least. These guys have more than earned it

might not mean much but i wouldve honestly rather just payed 20$ or less too play the old HnH. I just got back into it, started palying a few days, even began getting my friend into it. then i log into the forums. oh cool a whole NEW hnh. then i receive the news not only will i have to pay to play more than 20 mins a day but i also cant even play the old version for free. kind of shocked
The Brodgarwalder Shwarzhanden im really interested in seeing this take off. Players who are interested in combat but that want to fight the good fight and not necesarilly be part of any town except for alliance could hopefully be interested. Basically Nomadic Ranging/Combat SPecialists helping those in need and heelping to forge new alliances.

Personally, I'm all for giving you guys some funding for what you have given me, which is five years of enjoyment, it's just the way you go about things, your attitudes when questioned, particularly you Jorb, and the way you always have to over complicate everything! What is wrong with a simple monthly sub, slightly lower than stated, for each account with unlimited playing time like any normal game?!

Also, I know you feel you don't owe us anything but in a lot of ways you do, we have been loyal followers of a product you made and want to continue to do so, the least you owe us is some respect for that, even if not a bit of love and gratitude. :)
I don't believe for one second you would really be happy if we all deserted you and you were derping around in haven on your own with no-one to appreciate what you have done. :P

Anyway, I would like to go back to w7 and play as usual on my two accounts, as well as now playing one account on the new version, I have no idea which options I need to buy at the store to be able to do that, lol, or how much that is going to cost me per month, despite asking 3 times! Lol, or if it's even affordable, so it's understandable ppl are getting a little bit stressed, I know I am. :)

48hrs is not really much time either to decide if we like the new version enough to stick with it, I thought you would probably introduce the money aspect after we all got used to the changes and any problems were all ironed out. How do I know if I want to keep all 3 accounts after just 48hrs, couldn't we have all just had a month free for old times sake? :D

Well, I hope you come back refreshed and ready to answer some questions, nicely .... :)
