Does the legacy server work reliably, and does it require a lot of technical knowledge to get it working? I'm considering the 15$ verification, but would not like to pay for nothing. This was a very fun game a decade ago, loved to craft things and grow some plants with friends.

Yeah it does, I asked some old friends for client and it works. Just wanted to remind myself these days, but unfortunately the guy above me was right. I mean I still have fun getting curios, atributes and building brickwall for me and 3 of my mates. But I know we won't see anybody. That's kind of killing me when I play it.

The message “remote host closed connection during handshake” appears and I cannot connect.
Overwriting haven.jar, which replaced authsrv.crt, does not work.
How can I connect? I hope you help.

What do you mean by this, more exactly? What did you overwrite it with?

I replaced the file haven/authsrv.crt in the client Jar file with the corresponding file from the new (non-Legacy) client. but it still doesnt work..
