Yeah when I try to look things up about it there's a screen where you can put Java security to ''medium'' but because of all nasty stuff possible with Java they don't allow it anymore it seems.

Not having a mac is best solution of course but it's not mine but would still like to mess around in legacy a bit on it.

If someone knows how to deal with this please reply it here so all people doomed to Steve Jobs facebook machines can get on legacy too.

Do you even need to adjust those settings for it to run? Using the haven.jar file you bypass the JNLP file, so I guess you just need a custom client and the correct libraries for mac OSX which are floating around.
I'll have a play sometime with my mac at home - I think your java settings are in utilities? Are you using the latest OSX?

You can basically fix it by adding an exception for the website in JAVA's security configurations.

in the security tab insert http://legacy.havenandhearth.com to the exceptions and the next time you open the installer it should work.

Fascinatingly, it was a bug in the crossroads UI that has had zero reason to not fail previously for as long as crossroads have been in Legacy.
