So whats next for today? Wolves? Wolverines? Fucking eagles? Arrows that actually use arrows for better accuracy? Cobblestone walls?

We have a ton of bugs to fix, so I'm not sure it'll be meaningful to do more than one patch this week, in which case we'll probably release it on Thursday when we get back up.

Maybe. We'll see what happens. Haven't talked to loftar yet.

Thanks for the update. It's pretty difficult to play some aspects of the game right now (hunting, mining) so we're all a little antsy for the hinted reblances.

What's so hard about mining?

... bats?

Bruises being permanent HHP loss, knicknacks stacking into a single wound and effectively taking much longer to heal than "more serious wounds" requiring treatment. This makes learning UA against ants brutal as a beginner. Yesterday I had about ~60 hhp damage. 30 was healable via gauze/poltice, 11 is perma bruise, and 23 was nick knacks. My nicks are only down to 13 after a full 24 hours.

In general the healing speed is also an issue. If I screw up in the morning trying to learn how to hunt deer, I'm looking at 30-40hhp damage that will take me 24 hours to heal. The system is pretty cruel to anything other than the most skilled hunters because of how long it takes to get your HHP back after a mistake.

And I can't really run with lower than 70hhp due to multi hit mobs that have killed several players on the forums, one who I know personally.

The only real issue with bats is that most new players don't have the spare lp yet to drop on getting an UA char up high enough to take care of bats. Even my village which is decently coordinated just managed to get two guys strong enough to chaperon the miners.
