Divine Intervention: The Case of Core vs ST & CotTK

Crime
This morning I received a headsup PM concerning a critical bug which could be used to somehow get over walls illegally. The reporter and his village (Church of the Tar Kiln) were victims of the bug, and had been raided. No details were given as to how the bug worked.

Three minutes later I receive a very detailed report about the bug in question from a member (Headshot) of the village (Core) having found the bug and presently using it for raiding. The report was very detailed.

Two villages were raided, Church of the Tar Kiln and Scoia'Tael, both appear to essentially have been razed. On the scenes were scents from several members belonging to the aforementioned village Core.

Non-exhaustive investigations found scents from the following accounts on the scenes.

Jimbable
APXEOLOG
Headshot
Badich
Madsmax
mrHally

The verdict is as follows.

Punishment
  • The village of Core has been expropriated in its entirety on account of having been used in a criminal conspiracy. It has been selectively nuked and hereby thrown to the dogs.
  • All characters belonging to the aforementioned offending accounts (Jimbable, APXEOLOG, Headshot, Badich, Madsmax, mrHally) have been deleted.

Restitutions
  • All accounts belonging to Scoia'Tael and Church of the Tar Kiln have been given one month of free subscription time.
  • Headshot has been given a dev cape for reporting and detailing the bug.

Reasoning
  • Serious bugs should be reported, not quietly exploited.
  • Associating with criminals can be a bad idea. Do not tolerate bugabose among your friends and fellow villagers.

FIAT JUSTITIA RUAT CAELUM

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The following fixes are implemented with this restart.

Key Fixes
-----------------------
Fixed a bug with which walls could be jumped using chairs.
Fixed a bug where animals ate way too much

Small Fixes
-----------------------
Soil stockpile up from 50 to 80 units.
Stockpile placement by right-clicking should now only trigger when neither ctrl nor shift is held down, preventing the stockpile from showing up, for example, when you're shift+right-click-spamming fuel into a kiln or whatnot.
Bloated bolete has better energy value, as reported here
Fixed a bug which caused grape seed stacks to be given multiple qualities.

Good decision imo. Glad something was done to deter bug abuse in the future. Also, my village mate will be very happy his cow can stop starving now.

jorb: I don't want *your* money. You are rude and boring. Go away.
Sevenless: We already know real life has some pretty shitty game mechanics, it's why we're here instead.
Avu: The end is near it has finally come to pass: I agree with Lunarius...
Shubla: There are also other reasons to play this game than to maximize your stat gain.
