Is the new curio found when digging? If so, it is a step in the right direction :)

It doesn't when you're on the east side of it. I tried it when I made an alt. Regardless, it was enough to make me walk around the place for probably half an hour when I made my first character because coming back to try the fire again when it didn't do anything the first time didn't make any sense.

What does jumping in a campfire have to do with entering the mortal realm anyway? Was a glowing door or similar too video-gamey for you? It would at least be clear what to do.
Come back two hours earlier.

There are still no quivers in valhalla, and you can't learn archery to get the shoot button to begin with. Also you need to add food that improves marksmanship.

quivers? pfft that would make too much sense, we dont like common sense around here, it is better to just scatter single arrows around the place, all low quality

  • Added a new curiosity that can be found. /turds meh
  • Added "Fishpie", food /good but why eggs again at least I can build more coops.
  • Added "Shrug", emote /larp
  • Slag is now a proper rock and can be paved/built with, /meh.

Key Fixes
-----------------------
  • Sparring should no longer break armor, as suggested here among lots of places./ oh yeah baby the big one

Small Fixes
-----------------------
[list]
[*] Implemented a Right-Click->Shoo command for domestic animals as suggested here, among other places. /love you
[*] Animals should no longer attack while fleeing. Cape awarded to jorb. /never seen fleeing is failure anyway
[*] Cleave should actually be fixed according to last patch's note, fixing/damage in combat compared to hp still retardedly high.
[*] Reduced crafting time required for loom, spinning wheel, rope walk, and churn, as suggested/nice
[*] Sand castle gives 7500lp base, rather than 2500. /meh

no righteous man raises his hand against the innocent,
a man need only strike another to make him evil."

This, now that I've actually had a chance to test it out a reasonable amount.

Take Aim is dumb, IP needs to be more valuable in a fight.

Damage is pretty silly in combat yeah, but then we run into an issue.

If combat becomes attrition based (Slowly picking away at enemy hp until they fall), what can we do about people who run away too much? Right now combat has to be fast and deadly because it's too easy to run a lot of distance and survive anyhow (It's very difficult to stick to people as well, if you make one bad movement then you can't catch up again)

Should there be ranged attacks that allow you to slow enemy movement?I'm not sure how anyone would solve this issue currently

I'd totally love for combat to be more attrition based in a game with permadeath as well.
