No, it's certainly intended for roasting of larger animals as well, it's just slightly tricky to implement, but it's coming eventually.

Errrr... I've never noticed this to be the case. I've always gotten Con with rabbit meat, Cha with chicken meat, and I believe intelligence with Bat meat.

My nearby quarry now yields Gneiss instead of Stone and Black Coal..

EDIT: Also my pile turned into Gneiss.. so does stone even exist anymore? What is Gneiss anyway?
