Maybe, but we'd like to consider it a bit more at the very least.

It was a good change. It allows you to put this game down for a day without it feeling like its a huge loss. Or to not have to sit there with your character in game auto-consuming curios from a cabinet.

A good change that nuked my exp from 15k to 11k in the span of a day.
Tweaks are much needed if it's to be reimplemented. I'd love to have it back though.
W3 to W6 - Blockland. Special mentions: New Avalon, Tarn of Hotdog, Red October.
W7 - Elvenia, til we all got lazy.
W8 - Cult of R'lyeh, til the deeps called us back.
W9 - Tartarus, til death/wizards came for the land itself.
W10 - ???, ruined and forgotten.

Granted I'm lazier with studying and don't have raider faction level curios, don't autostudy, but I did have 100 attention worth of stuff in my box recently and didn't notice a dent in exp. I usually proactively hunt my bottlenecks though when I don't get experience that day. I'll test a willow 24 hours after my last willow event, if it doesn't proc I try all the other stuff when I happen to be near it. Sometimes it was checking a running smelter, other times it was farming, but all in all if you can find the bottleneck that keeps willows off your deck, free that then get the willow and that's loads each day on its own. If you get the full 5ish per day you'll get 1k minimum. Just don't use EXP sinks constantly and it works great.

I actually liked the idea of the new system, it only really needed tweaks, not sure why you felt the need to back down after going all in like that. :?

I really don't though, my character is certainly on the lower end of the spectrum when it comes to total LP I am quite sure of that. I wasn't even using any metal curios for a long while.

Anyways, even when I was playing more actively during the early game I don't recall ever having over 10k experience. To me 36k is pretty amazing to see.

I didn't realize experience was actually an issue to anyone tbh. The only characters i've ever had to worry about it on are fresh chars that i build within the village without ever sending them out, and even then it's really simple to just go through a checklist of things to do for experience every day. I've never run out of experience, or even really come close.
