I died like 3 days ago, and already inherited (before update).
does this update has any influence on my new character?

You can bury the skeleton and skull of your ancestor to potentially get some stats back.

but i have no chance to get initial 30%?
ok. than i do hate this update. )

Considering you would have gotten NOTHING before this update, instead of 30%... I don't see why this is a problem for you.

There'll be a six minute or so rollback here due to bag-bags. Sorry about that.

Burying the bodies of others feel like an icredibly honorable thing to do.

I'll start a personal policy to bring home the skeletons I find and bury them :D

I never used the auto-hearth feature, it always felt like cheating ... now it sort of feels like I'm being punished for it. Can't win.

No, btw, in case you didn't get an answer to this.

Maybe I'm just too noob, but with the current stamina system if someone doesn't want to fight, it seems to me they have no choice. I don't see how someone could successfully get far enough away from someone to escape combat without being in a wagon or on a horse.

Also, lengthening hearth time in all conditions because player killers were whining makes hearthing in all conditions feels really obnoxious.
