Hm. So I'm a hermit, not much past the 50 cap and unlikely to ever hit 125. I sort of feel like I just wasted my money on a 3 month subscription since it will now do absolutely nothing for me, especially when starting from scratch. I'm not sure how I feel about all this.

Well, you guys love averaging stuff (like most quality calculations) so why not some sort of average from the non-sub cap and the current skill/attribute value?

That payment model is clearly pay2win, I wont say the old one was better, but the new one takes the illusion to be able to participate in late game and thus takes away the will to even start playing since all you will archieve is at most mediocre

My opinion: I dont like it

Technically speaking, you don't win for paying. In particular, you don't win more by paying more. If anything, you don't win if you don't pay, but that's a different thing.

This is why I'll quit, even though I paid already.

Games in Alpha, or eternal alpha arent concrete, you should always keep in the back of your mind a drastic change can come, this game is experimenting to find its niche. Your sub will carry over to the next iteration, to what I think will be a much healthier world.
