Now remove the Victorian bowler from the store and replace it with a Asian straw hat for those salt mining updates ;D

Very nice patch. Takes care of a few things on my dislike list.

Thanks for paying attention to complaints :) Much appreciated! :)

Cant You just nuke claims on resource nodes?
That would really make people fight over it
I'd rather lose 20k lp and know there are no other claimed resources than have them all claimed because someone was faster

I think when the world eventually expands/resets the fact resources are now unclaimable will come into play more. It'd be a total minefield to retroactively remove claims over resources, not everyone has just slapped a small claim around a node, I imagine many people have put their main claim around one, I know I have.
I do question how effective it'll be anyway since they can still be walled in with claims/walls, but I guess that's something we'll just have to see what happens, how far the no-claim region extends etc. At the very least this puts a stop to casual fire and forget claiming which is what is happening to most nodes I've come across.

A simple question - can you interact with resources claimed before the patch without leaving scents like theft or vandalism (not sure which one applies here)?

I think the best solution to claimed resources for most would be to simply give the option to declaim for the 4k lp investment return. I would declaim mine if I got my investment back. I only claimed it in the first place to ensure myself and my neighbours were able to build villages and charter stones.

Do I have to do this for my troll claims which dried before this patch?

They are pretty dam far away.... but will make the trip if I have to.
