You can just lure it away from the ore using a fresh alt, then put a few branch stockpiles (out of aggro range) to prevent it from wandering back. Not really a game breaker.

Again though that's just another cheese tactic reliant on a janky mechanic which is the crux of my issue with the whole thing, there's no real legitimate gameplay option in place to counter the addition of trolls.
They are solely reliant on negative aspects of the game mechanics in order to bypass or exploit.

If you're a hermit with a stray troll in your mine it's pretty easy to find someone who will come and take him away for you. If you aren't a hermit and your group can't take care of a troll then what have you been doing with your life.

Is it too early in the world for people to be able to fight trolls the traditional way? Is this an attempt at slowing player progression in an attempt to further level the playing field between the casual and the hardcore?

from this one. 3 mushrooms, 2 skin, ~30 meat ( 60 str + 30 psy), 1 tail ( 150 agi + 150 con + 30 psy) (the worst part),1 skill ( curious 300k LP), and 8 bones. so it's all

and if some one have interest he got ~200+ MC 350 DMG 4500 HP that was 4 lvl mine. enjoy
