Btw will be ther an "Spiked Wrecking Ball" that uses also some metal (wrought maybe?) and do more dmg with spikes? :D
Or one with Miley... that u can just wreck into the wall for your own amusement? xD

I'd imagine the wrecking ball was added so hermits/small villages with no metal access or the wherewithal to build a ram can still take down structures.

So no, probably no "spiked" version in the future.

I like this new cheese stats.
When i see on any kinds of steaks, meatpies, tubers - cheeses was useless before them.
Now cheeses became an OP food again, for rich people. Thank you!

Somehow I'm going to guess hard leather is an ingredient?

When Jorb and Loftar want to add value to crafting recipes the go-to is always hard leather and boneglue

When in doubt, hard leather

When in serious doubt, silk cloth and hard leather.... maybe some rope in there too cuz fuck everybody

This guy has it right and true.

I very much doubt wrecking balls will be used for siege. Their intention is indeed to fill the spot for the previous civil uses for battering rams, now that they require brimstone.

Unless people are back to fancying 24 hour camps :P

You don't need to camp for 24 hours when ramming a hermit. You just need to catch them off-guard, when they don't see it for 24 hours.

I know I'm glad I have two palisades around my stuff with the implementation of the wrecking ball.

This is really cheap. If it weren't for the crime debuffs I might just build it near someone's wall for the hell of it.

So what's the point of the +2 mechanic? I'm not very familiar with the FEP mechanics of new haven.

One might argue that's partially the point of scents, to add weight/cost to an otherwise free/cheap crime against other players.

But it's not the scents I'm afraid of. It's the debuff that makes sure I can only log out in my house (or risk death by environment/random killer) and won't be able to hearth for a while.
