Has anyone tried to wreck the Questgivers yet?

That is indeed theoretically possible. The arrows point out a direction, not a distance.

Questgivers are trees and stumps. I kill tons of them weekly.

I like it

I just wonder how easily people will bot it.
the proliferation of automation is the rot of this game, with the next worst thing being the filth that plays it (you, probably.)

So questgivers are locked in or could they be changed so they would be nearer. Also would be nice if arrow showed the distance like 300m away. and closer I get to it the less distance number would show.

Not easily, unless you have a pathfinding bot that can catch fish, enter caves, use emotes, swim naked, and find the questgivers in the first place etc. They've made it very hard to bot.

What do you mean? Are you asking if the quest might change while it's underway? If so, of course not.

I think the main concern is if a tree is marked as a quest giver and someone else or the player destroys the tree will the quest become incompletable.

Yeah. But did you do it with your own questgiver?

No like, for example my quest giver is named for example "quastirver" and it is a rock couple tens of thousand tiles away from my hearth fire, therefore I am wondering if it would be possible to change the quest giver location to couple hundred tiles away which would be another rock. Something like decline and accept the quest over again until it is nearer to me or an option to change quest giver location. Something like that.
