Such is life. Major factions are major for a reason. Why should hermits be able to compete with them?

It's time to get quality over 9000 and explore the world beyond limits, yay! Also more magic.

Botting is required for you to have a chance of survival beyond the mid-game, which is when the player gap becomes impossible to cross without mechanical help. Botting allows people to have multiple combat chars and make their deaths meaningless, with leads to more combat and more activity overall.

The reason given for the no caps change was the need for more pvp. That's telling; it means pvp has priority in development compared to other features. The devs could have pushed a major change like that aiming at less botting, or more socialization, or more grinding, but no.

False. Botting is an unfair advantage, allowed by developers for no apparent reason. Before statcaps removal botting allowed you to progress much faster and get a lot of disposable toons, but it wasn't the only way to "get good". Honest ways just took more time.

I don't see the correlation.
Oh wait, right, since there is no point in trying to compete with shmucks who made it into some kind of "achievement" to raid, kill and grief everyone they can lay their hands on (and now with no cap they will very quickly be able to lay said hands on anyone leaving his palisade), I might as well just go and have some PvP one last time... Was that the intended result? I hope not.

No. He is saying that nothing stops you from botting if you want to get stronger.

You're just rephrased the very same thing. Now if anyone wants to be relatively on par with major factions' players, he will have to either get himself a bunch of grinding bots or join said factions and reap the fruits of their bots' labour. Bots are a must.

This has always be true if you want to be best players.

I have become victory of very nice Jordan Coles Contest! Enjoy my winning submit here if it pleasures you.

Again, FALSE. Getting good gear and capped stats (enough to compete in mid-to-end-game PvP) took more time without bots, but it was very much achievable. Now it is not.

The discussion is: For what reason?

Number of players?
Number of hours played?
Number of programs the have to not have to play like everyone else?

Maybe for not being whiny shitters like you? I personally don't bot, but they were there for a long time and your cries won't change anything.

Git gud or die in a gutter.

Bot faction wins war of attrition more easy even with cap. It is never not advantage to use bot.
